Many of us struggle with depression, anxiety, loss of purpose, and past trauma. The lack of healthy boundaries and authentic communication skills, as well as the difficulty to prioritize self care, mental health, emotional release, and grief support, highlights some essential human experience that has little to no empathetic or compassionate support in the mainstream.

Our nature sanctuary is based on reciprocity (AYNI) as a balance principal to respect all that we receive from nature, and to honor the spirit in all creation (INUA). Established in the mountains of the ancient Chachapoya cloud people of Northern Peru, La Casa del Cacao breathes in the rich history of the Amazonas region.
With the world’s oldest cacao trees within reach, we partner with cacao farmers, chocolate makers, Awajun tribes, and local community artisans. From a place of integrity and ancestral wisdom, we offer cacao ceremonies, therapeutic sessions, trainings and retreats, to serve those who are on a path of transformation, alternative lifestyle choices, and sacred space holding. The emotional and spiritual benefits that cacao offers to humanity is our main focus and passion of service.
It is important to us, that each of our participants are well informed, as there may be expectations related to ancestral cacao traditions in Peru. Most of the Peruvian people have not heard of a cacao ceremony as these types of practices came into our modern day, only a decade ago. There are people who still stone grind spices ancestrally, yet working with cacao on a daily basis is rare.

The nearest airports are located in the charming town of Chachapoyas, less than 1 hour drive from La Casa del Cacao or in Jaen city 3 hour drive.

3 DAY CACAO EXPERIENCE
In 3 days, you receive support on your personal journey through the lower, middle, and upper world of consciousness. It is an experience composed of a visit to a cacao farm, a waterfall excursion with an energetic initiation, and a cacao ceremony.

7 DAY CACAO EXPERIENCE
In 7 days, you receive personal support and grounded spiritual guidance. Partake in two waterfall excursions, visit a cacao farm, chocolate making workshop, Montegrande archaeology site or museum, learn the foundation of the Golden ÆRA cacao facilitation framework, and experience healing cacao ceremonies.
