The Vision

Along the winding waters of the golden serpent, Marañón River lies a piece of land pulsating with life—the Aynua Arboretum.

Here, native Theobroma cacao trees stand strong in an intact, biodiverse forest ecosystem.

We are expanding Aynua Arboretum beyond a sanctuary of conservation into a space of direct personal connection with heart and earth. We are creating a one of a kind hermitage where people can restore and renew their relationship with themselves and the Earth with no distractions.

Our dream is to build custom cabins and infrastructure within the cacao forest, for guests to experience life in wild nature with comfort. These spaces will allow guests, practitioners, and seekers to:

  • Live directly among the trees in harmony with the rhythm of the Amazon.

  • Receive natural healing offered by the pristine cacao forest, clean air, river bathing, and living ecosystem.

  • Harvest & Drink pure, native ceremonial cacao right at its source, honoring the full cycle from tree to cup.

The Marañón River valley is a vital cradle of cacao genetics and biodiversity, but natural forests face continuous pressure from deforestation, illegal mining, and land development. Human waste and garbage often land up in and on the shores of the river.
